15kw Solar + 30kwh Sungrow battery

A 15kW solar system with 30kWh of Sungrow battery storage for a two-storey family home in Newport, Brisbane.

The owners wanted to cut their power bills and make better use of the sun their home gets throughout the day. We designed a system that covers their daytime usage and stores enough excess to carry the household well into the evening and overnight.

We installed 33 SunPower 455W panels across the roof, laid out to make the most of the available space on a two-storey build. A Sungrow hybrid inverter and 30kWh Sungrow battery were mounted in the garage, keeping everything neat, accessible and protected from the weather. We also set up the monitoring app so the owners can track their generation, battery levels and savings from their phone.
